Born in 1970 in The Netherlands, in a town near Amsterdam. My passion for art and photography started at a young age as I went to graphic school. There I learned developing photo’s in a darkroom but it was not until my thirties, after graduating the Fotovakschool in Amsterdam, that I decided to dedicate my life to photography.
When I’m behind the camera I’m always searching for little surprises. These I can find in my fascination for perfection and imperfection, unexpected moments and working with daylight. I’m inspired by the beauty of people and nature, everything is unique. I love to capture a moment in time in a natural way while telling a story through the years.
